| TAKING OCEAN ROWING TO THE ARENA OF PRO SPORT The 2011 inaugural Transatlantic World Cup of ocean rowing between Big Blue and her competition will set the course and benchmark World record for the future of one design Atlantic racing . The second annual World Cup will race the new Expedition 40 trimarans designed and built by Roc expedition of New York, each boat will carry six crew consisting of an experienced ocean rower /Skipper and five properly trained crew. The World Cup is THE RACE it is the only opportunity available in racing identical boats with the very real possibility of breaking the Atlantic World record . Boats and crews by racing from Africa to the Americas will have rowed the full extent of the ocean further enhancing the accomplishment. as such the World Cup will very soon become the most sought after award in ocean rowing. We would like to invite Skippers wishing to represent their countries in the race of 2012 to contact us for further details. Skippers will lead their campaign in all aspects of preparation and training, therefore due to the time consuming nature of this position no financial obligation is required ,we will however select only those that are fully understanding of the need for above average organizational skills, enthusiasm and drive that winning the World Cup will demand. Complementing the Cup of 2012 will be a substantial monetary prize organized by Roc expedition which will not (as is becoming common) be dependant on the amount of entries and will represent an amount greater than the cost of your campaign in its entirety. There will be no limit to the amount of boats representing a particular country. Crews must be resident of the country they represent. Boats should be registered in the country represented by the crew. All boats built and sold must be resold through Roc Expedition ensuring your investment in an Expedition 40 is not lessened by others selling at less than market value.
